    • Smoke tested intake system, Inspected turbo, wastegate, recirculation valve. All ok. Found excessive engine vacuum indicating bad pcv valve. Need to replace pcv valve. Have to hold down key to start, if just pushed engine only cranks for less than a second, Causing p3053 code and epc light to illuminate. Cannot find any information on any of our programs about the symptom or code on steps to diagnose it.
    • PCV VALVE – Remove & Replace – Crankcase Ventilation Regulating Valve
    • Flushed Brake System With New Fluid, Inspected Brake Hoses And Checked For Leaks.
    • Replace motor oil and install new oil filter. Lube chassis where applicable. Check fluid levels. Check tire pressure.

    • Fault P0302 Stored, Cylinder Two Misfire. Inspect System And Verified Injector Controls And Ignition Controls. Technician Moved Spark Plug From Cylinder #2 To Cylinder #1 And Ignition Coil From Cylinder #2 To Cylinder #3. Misfire Fault Code Travels From #2 Cylinder To #1. This Indicates That Spark Plug Has Failed. Recommend Replacing Spark Plugs AND Ignition Coil Due To Coils High Failure Rate With Age And Miles. UPDATE: Technician Replaced Spark Plugs And Ignition Coils And Test Drove Vehicle. CEL Illuminated Indicating Cylinder #1 And #2 Misfire. Technician Then Performed Compression Test And Found 50PSI Compression (Very Low) For Cylinder #2 and 180PSI (Normal) For Cylinder #1. The Pressure Is Leaking Into Crank Case Indicating Worn Piston Rings. At This Time, An Engine Replacement Is Recommended. Client Old Spark Plugs And Ignition Coils Were Re-Installed Into Vehicle. Diagnostic Charge Includes Leak Down And Pressure Test Vehicle

    • Replaced Fuel Pump, Cleared Faults, Verified Correct Operation. Fuel Pressure @ Rail Actual Pressure = Specified Pressure. Test Drive Good.
    • Replaced Brake Switch, Cleared Faults and Verified Proper Operation.
