- Vehicle Courtesy Check
- Cylinder 2 misfire, intake vanos fault on cold start up, oil pressure control code. Pulled spark plug on cylinder 2 and is worn, looks to be original plugs. Swapped ignition coil from 2 to 1 and misfire followed. Recommend replacing spark plugs and coils. Oil pressure sensor has proper power and ground, found large amount of resistance in sensor itself (13.5 mega ohms). Recommend replacing oil pressure sensor. Vanos solenoids passed testing. Excessive engine sludge can clog solenoids and effect readings, recommend oil system cleaning and monitoring to see if code comes back.
